Get ready for baseball like you've never experienced! Banana Ball is a fast-paced, entertainment-focused style of baseball that puts the FUN back in the game. Think shorter games, constant action, and non-stop excitement that keeps players and fans engaged from first pitch to final out.

🗒️ Fine Print

This is a one-day event on November 15, 2025. We are hosting 2 divisions (9U/10U & 11U/12U) on 4 fields at Bakersfield Park in Flower Mound, Texas. Priority registration will be given to DFW Interlock and TEBA partners.

All registration will be done as an individual player in one age group division -- this is not a team-registered tournament. Your player will automatically be assigned to a roster based on skill level, playing position need, and parity for the tournament.

Custom shirts will be provided at the event and teams will be pre-built prior to arrival. Parents are invited to come and experience the entire event. Soon we will be asking for volunteers to run music, announce, take photos, and possibly coach. If you are interested, please indicate that on your registration.

This is a three game guarantee event for all players + the morning clinic and lunch. You will play in two pool games (12:30pm & 2:00pm) and then your team will either play in the championship game or consolation game starting at 3:30pm. An award ceremony and autograph session will conclude the day around 5:00pm.

All pitching will be done via machine or coach pitcher.

• Rule 1: Win the inning, get the point
• Rule 2: 75 minute time limit
• Rule 3: No stepping out
• Rule 4: No. Bunting.
• Rule 5: Batters can steal first
• Rule 6: No walks allowed
• Rule 7: No mound visits
• Rule 8: Fan foul out
• Rule 9: Showdown Tiebreaker
• Rule 10: Golden Batter
• Rule 11: Rotten Banana Batter
• (No challenge rule due to no replay cameras!)

📋 Other Rules

• We will have a form of equal play for all age groups (TBD)
• Players and fans will be held to highest standard of conduct
• All pitching will be done via machine or coach pitcher
• All players will be required to wear proper safety equipment
• Bat rules will follow standard NCS bat regulations per age group
• General NFHS baseball rules will be utilized, when necessary

📈 Goals

• Host an event like never done before in North Texas
• Give our rec and advanced rec level kids a unique experience
• Bust out the dance moves (parents better be ready, as well!)
• Remind ourselves of the fun that youth sports can be!
