Every year (Spring season only) the DFW Interlock attempts to host an End of Season Tournament for all teams participating that season. All teams are randomly seeded in a single-elimination bracket (not based on season rankings) and will compete to see who can come out on top of their division. EOS Tournament is not guaranteed, weather permitting only.

EOS tournament dates: 05/12 — 05/19

Reminders

  • EOS Tournament isn’t guaranteed
    Rule 27.1
All attempts will be made to complete an End of Season Tournament for every age group… but no guarantees are made that a single division will have or fully complete an End of Season tournament during the year.
  • Equal Play
    Rule 22.12.10
During EOS Tournament, the only Equal Play Rules required are: Teams must bat the entire roster and no player will sit twice before all other players have sat at least once.

MLB Pitch Smart rules still in effect.

  • Visitor / Home
Since the EOS Tournament is all randomly seeded, there will be a coin flip at every plate meeting to determine visitor/home teams for the game.
  • No ties
If, at the end of your innings or time limit (different for each age group) the game is tied, we will utilize the “Texas Tiebreaker” to complete the game. Put the last 3 batters on the bases and 1 out on the board.
  • Bracket Updates
Individual coaches will not get access to update the EOS bracket. Please reach out to your league representatives to make any updates.
